Our client in Melville, NY was interested in having a patio designed that would allow them to walk right out of the back door without having to walk down a set of steps, as they were in their elder years. They wanted a modest patio that would allow them a nice seating area for dining outside, and also have a good view of the pool to watch the grandchildren. Being elevated and introducing planters to soften the look, they gained the view they needed without creating a heavy-looking patio.

Objectives & Challenges
