We created this landscape design for a large family in Dix Hills, NY who were all about backyard living and enjoying the summer season. And this entertainer’s paradise delivers all the amenities that make this backyard the only place to have BBQ’s. It’s equipped with a massive outdoor kitchen cabana, pool house, fireplace and pergola, full wet bar, custom gunite pool and spa, and enough patio space to entertain every summer BBQ and party.

Objectives

• Complete outdoor living amenities
• Create enough entertainment space for 40 people
• Allow for every area to be special and unique but also connecting each space for one comprehensive project

Challenges

• Creating a large patio that does not feel like a parking lot
• Unifying the entire family’s wishlist into one space
• Blending contemporary design style with a traditional-style home
